Black Team math students learned how to make podcasts this week. Each group made an instructional video based on a lesson from chapter 3. We had a lot of fun making these videos. A sample appears below.
The Black Team is in the process of selecting students for Student Council. Each teacher will choose 2 students to represent the Black Team. From Ms. Nikkel's class, Kylie Linkeman and Nate Streubel have been selected. They were chosen based on classroom observation as well as an essay that they wrote during social studies class.

Gabrielle was nominated by her classmates for the award because she "always listens and follows class rules". Black Team students can nominate their classmates as "cool cats" when they see them exhibit any of the Bethalto School District character traits.
